Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele is set to complete an £11 million move to Chinese Super League side Beijing Guoan.

Dembele, 31, has just six months remaining on his current contract at Spurs and has not featured for Mauricio Pochettino’s side since November against Wolves, a game in which he injured his ankle.

Pochettino has recently spoken of Spurs’ need to spend more if they are to compete, but Chairman Daniel Levy is seeking a clearing of deadwood before any new additions come in.

The Belgium international has 137 Premier League appearances for the north London club, scoring seven goals in the process.

It is also being reported that Spurs’ Dutch striker Vincent Janssen is likely to move on in the January window.
