San Jose Earthquakes 0-Manchester United 0

Manchester United made their way up the West Coast in their final preseason friendly before the International Champions Cup, drawing 0-0 with the San Jose Earthquakes.

While much has been made of the quiet atmosphere at Levi’s Stadium the match was not without its fair share of exciting moments. Alexis Sanchez made his 2018-2019 season debut for The Red Devils, logging 60 minutes and creating several attacking chances aimed at lifting the deadlock.

His free kick in the 4th minute found an eager Eric Bailly whose shot rattled the Quakes crossbar. Credit is due to the Earthquakes defense and goalkeeper JT Marcinowski who held back the Premier League side en route to the shutout.
