Del Piero to Montreal. It’s All Rumour

Despite the press in Italy filling up with rumours connecting Allessandro del Piero to the Montréal club, Prost Amerika has learned that this is no nearing happening than before when Nick de Santis spoke with us in January.

Giuseppe Pezzano is President of OSA, a company which specialises in finding and bringing European players to MLS and consults on international transfers to the Montréal  Impact.

They facilitated the transfer of Marco di Vaio to Montréal but Pezzano told us that del Piero was not likely to follow in di Vaio’s footsteps:

“We organized and facilitated the negotiation process between Impact de Montreal and del Piero some time ago, however no deal was reached and the negotiation process has been terminated.”
