Germany v France headlines a week of tasty friendlies

While World Cup qualifying continues in Asia, Europe and the CONCACAF region are using the FIFA February 29th date for friendlies.

The USA have a high profile match versus Italy in Genoa while Germany will play France in Bremen in another stand out match.

World and European champions Spain host Venezuela, while Portland Timbers Rodney Wallace will be in Cardiff where Costa Rica face Wales.

New England interim manager Stuart Pearce has his first test when the Netherlands visit Wembley.

In Dublin, two teams who qualified for EURO 2012 meet when the Republic of Ireland host the talented Czechs. Denmark v Russia is another such encounter between two qualifiers.
