The Tractor Boys are looking to bounce back after two disastrous campaigns. The 2018\/19 season saw them finish bottom of the Championship under Paul Hurst, dropping to the third tier for the first time since 1957. The following season, despite a superb start to life in League One, their form took a sharp decline which saw them stumble to an 11th place finish.<\/p>\n
Despite the fans’ complaints, Ipswich have stuck by manager Paul Lambert, and much like last season, they have had a fine start to this campaign. The Tractor Boys sit second in the league having won five of their opening seven games, scoring 14 goals in the process. However, they suffered their first defeat of the season in their last game, a thumping 4-1 loss at the hands of Doncaster Rovers.<\/p>\n
