Despite losing against the Chicago Fire in his debut, the Spaniard is looking to success after a defeat at the hands the Fire, 2-1, despite Finn Surman’s goal in the 85th minute.
In the end, a loss is a loss for the new manager Marti Cifuentes, who has managed at Rubi, Sant Andreu, Sandeforj, AaB, Hammarby Football IF, Queens Park Rangers, Leicester City, and now Portland Timbers.
