FOXBOROUGH, MA– New England Revolution (5-1-3, 16 pts.) battled to a 1-1 draw with Inter Miami CF (5-4-1, 19 pts.) on Saturday night.
The match kicked off at 7:30 p.m. ET at NU Stadium to a crowd of 26,500.

The match kicked off with New England starting from the center circle as they elected to build out of the back to begin the match.
Luis Suarez had the first chance of the match for Inter Miami in the 8th minute when his left-footed volley attempt was saved by Matt Turner. The shot then fell for forward German Berterame and then was claimed by goalkeeper Matt Turner.
Lionel Messi had yet another chance for Miami just two minutes later when his left footed strike from outside the box was met with a spectacular diving save by goalkeeper Matt Turner.
Carles Gil had New England’s first chance in the 15th minute when he drove up the center of the park and took a left footed shot that was deflected away for a goal kick.
New England’s next chance came just 5 minutes later when Dor Turgeman’s right-footed effort from inside the area was saved by goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair
Griffin Yow had a chance of his own in the 30th minute when his lofted shot attempt toward the back post was awkwardly claimed by goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair.
Less than 3 minutes later, Yow had yet another chance towards goal that he sent high over the bar & wide of the mark.
Lionel Messi had a left-footed chance inside the New England penalty area int he 38th minute when a lofted ball found him inside the box and was sent just wide of the net.
Inter Miami had the final chance of the half when forward Lionel Messi had a low-driven left footed shot that was comfortably saved by goalkeeper Matt Turner.
After the initial 45+2 minutes, the match entered halftime with the scoreline level at 0-0.

Prior to the start of the second half, both teams made changes. Revolution head coach Marko Mitrović made his first change of the match by replacing defender Ilay Feingold with winger Luca Langoni. Inter Miami CF head coach Guillermo Hoyos made his first change by replacing Noah Allen with Tadeo Allende.
The second half began with Inter Miami CF starting from the center circle as they elected to keep possession & build out of the back.
Griffin Yow had the first chance of the half for New England when his right-footed effort is saved by Dayne St. Clair and then deflected out for a corner kick in the 47th minute.
Less than one minute later, Luca Langoni had his first chance when his right-f0oted effort from outside the box was comfortably claimed by goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair.

Entering the 52nd minute, Inter Miami CF had thought that they scored when a ball was played down the right flank and found Tadeo Allende inside the box for a right-footed finish into the middle left of the net to make it 1-0, however, the linesman called the play offsides. VAR took a look at it and the center official was not called to review the decision at the monitor. No goal, still 0-0.
Dor Turgeman had a fantastic effort in the 56th minute when his long-distant effort from 30+ yards out was met with a spectacular full-stretch save to his left hand side.
Entering the 56th minute, New England took the lead.
Following a long-throw into the penalty area by defender Will Sands, the ball was thrown toward forward Dor Turgeman who was battling with defender Maxi Falcon. Turgeman trapped and then left the ball as it was picked up by midfielder Carles Gil and met with a small chip into the goal to make it 1-0 to New England.
In the 59th minute, Inter Miami CF forward Tadeo Allende was issued a yellow card for a foul on forward Dor Turgeman.
Dor Turgeman had the next chance for New England in the 64th minute when a lofted ball into the box by Carles Gil was met with a half-volley attempt that went very wide of the net.
In the 67th minute, Inter Miami CF midfielder David Ruiz was issued a yellow card for a late foul on midfielder Carles Gil just outside Inter Miami’s penalty area.
The ensuing freekick taken by midfielder Carles Gil struck the wall and then went out of play.

Just two minutes later, in the 69th minute, Inter Miami CF head coach Guillermo Hoyos made his second and third changes of the match by replacing midfielder David Ruiz & defender Gonzalo Lujan with midfielder Ian Fray & midfielder Preston Plambeck.
In the 71st minute, Revolution head coach Marko Mitrović made his second change by replacing winger Griffin Yow with midfielder Jackson Yueill.
Preston Plambeck had a massive chance in the 73rd minute when his shot towards goal was met with an unbelievable save by goalkeeper Matt Turner.
Inter Miami had yet another chance less than a minute later when a delivery into the area by midfielder Rodrigo De Paul was headed just over the bar by midfielder Ian Fray.
Entering the 75th minute, Inter Miami CF leveled the scoreline.
Following a delivery into the area, the ball was shot by forward Luis Suarez, saved by Matt Turner and then tapped in by forward German Berterame to level the scoreline at 1-1.
After the goal, Inter Miami CF head coach Guillermo Hoyos made two changes by replacing midfielder Facundo Mura & with midfielder Ezequiel Abadia-Reda.
Dor Turgeman had a massive chance in the 78th minute when he drove down the left flank of the pitch and took a left footed shot that was saved by goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair.
Less than a minute later, Lionel Messi had a massive chance for Inter Miami when his left-footed shot went just over the bar.

In the 85th minute, Revolution head coach Marko Mitrović made his third change by replacing forward Dor Turgeman with defender Tanner Beason.
Inter Miami had the next chance of the match in the 86th minute when a service into the area by midfielder Ian Fray was just missed by forward Luis Suarez and cleared by defender Mamadou Fofana.
Just two minutes later, Revolution head coach Marko Mitrović was forced to make another change by replacing midfielder Alhassan Yusuf with midfielder Diego Fagundez.

In the 90+2 minute, Inter Miami CF defender Micael was issued a yellow card for a two-handed shove in the back to midfielder Brooklyn Raines.
Tadeo Allende had a massive chance to score a header in the 90+4 minute but his effort was saved by goalkeeper Matt Turner.
Less than a minute later, Brooklyn Raines had a massive chance that was missed after the shot was taken directly at goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair.
After the 90+5 minutes, the match concluded with in a 1-1 draw.
