No miracle in Minnesota for the derailed Portland Timbers

Minnesota  United 2-0 Portland Timbers

ST. PAUL, MN–The Portland Timbers had never won at Minnesota. Despite Phil Neville’s optimism, the Timbers haven’t bettered their record on the road. Tomas Chancalay opened the scoring in the 16th minute, and Kelvin Yeboah finished the match on the 60th minute to blank the Rose City side.

So far in the season, the Portland Timbers have not delivered a win on the road (0-4-0), runs like this could lead to the end of Phil Neville’s tenure.

The Portland Timbers aren’t playing their best game lately and that was evident in St. Paul after falling to the Loons on Saturday night.

The Timbers never won at Allianz Field and that continued on Saturday. This is becoming alarming, in the end there are some teams the Rose City side cannot decipher their attack, and they get the better of them.
