Raines & Kohler called up to United States U21 Men’s National Team

FOXBOROUGH, MA– New England Revolution defender Ethan Kohler & midfielder Brooklyn Raines have been called up to the United States Men’s National Team for a pair of friendly matches during the March international window.

Raines, 21, re-joins the U21 squad after previously donning the captain’s armband for the squad in two November friendlies. The midfielder previously earned 18 caps at the U-20 level, including appearances at the 2024 Concacaf U-20 Championship and the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile last fall.

Kohler, 20, joins after 14 previous caps with the US U20 squad, including four starts during last year’s FIFA U20 World Cup.

The Stars & Stripes are preparing to head to Cheonan, South Korea to face off against Japan on Friday, March 27 (2:00am KO), & Korea Republic on Tuesday, March 31 (6:00am KO).

Raines has started all three games for New England to open the 2026 campaign. Kohler has appeared in two matches for New England since joining this offseason.

Marko Mitrović and the New England Revolution (1-0-2, 3 pts.) are on the road to face take on Western Conference side St. Louis City SC (0-1-2, 1 pts). The match is set to kickoff at Energizer Park on Saturday, March 21st at 8:30 p.m. ET on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app.
