Brayan Ceballos & Luca Langoni named to MLS Team of the Matchday 4

FOXBOROUGH, MA– New England Revolution defender Brayan Ceballos & forward Luca Langoni have made the MLS Team of the Matchday 4 following Saturday’s 6-1 victory over FC Cincinnati.

This is Ceballos & Langoni’s first appearance in TOTW this season.

Defender Brayan Ceballos obtained a starting position in the MLS Team of the Matchday 4 for his spectacular performance on Sunday evening. Ceballos, who played all 90 minutes finished the match with a 9.1 rating according to Fotmob. Offensively, Brayan had 2 headed goals on 2 total shot attempts. Brayan had 89 touches and 7 passes into the final third. The defender went 65/71 (92%) on accurate passes throughout the match with 7/11 accuracy on long balls (64%). He went 2/2 (100%) on successful dribbles and was dispossessed 0 times during the match. Luca Langoni obtained a starting position in the MLS Team of the Matchday 4 for his standout performance on Saturday night. Langoni, who played all 90 minutes finished the match with an 9.3 rating according to Fotmob and was given Man of the Match honors. Offensively, Luca had 0 goals on 0 shot attempts with 3 assists. Langoni had 46 touches and 3 passes into the final third. The forward went 28/30 (93%) on accurate passes. He went 0/2 (0%) on successful dribbles and was dispossessed 2 times during the match with 3 chances created. Langoni defensively went 3 tackles won with 4 recoveries during the match. He went 3/8 (38%) on ground duels and had zero aerial duels won. He was fouled 1 time and committed 1 foul during the match.

Marko Mitrović and the New England Revolution (1-0-2, 3 pts.) are on the road to face take on Western Conference side St. Louis City SC (0-1-2, 1 pts). The match is set to kickoff at Energizer Park on Saturday, March 21st at 8:30 p.m. ET on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app.
