Soccer on the Sound: Huskies down #12-Indiana

Washington 3-0 #12-Indiana

SEATTLE, WA–The Washington Huskies made it three clean sheets in a row with a statement win over #12-Indiana, 3-0, at Husky Soccer Stadium on Friday. The win moves the Huskies to 7-3-2 on the season and 4-1-0 in the Big Ten.

The Huskies took the lead jn the 20th minute when Richie Aman found Alex Hall on the left side of the box for an emphatic goal. Jason Bowton made two key saves in the first half to keep the Huskies on top.

Washington doubled their lead in the 74th minute after Charlie Kosakov scored off a cross from Hall. Asher Hestad made it 3-0 in the 83rd minute heading in a corner from Aman.

The Huskies will look to keep the momentum going next Friday when they travel to Rutgers. Kickoff is at 4pm PT on Big Ten +.
