What an eventful day under the arches for James Pantemis, who not only secured a clean sheet but also made three crucial block shots. This performance contributed to a memorable match that saw two Timber players named to the MLS Team of the Matchday for Matchday 2.

David Da Costa, the player from Portugal, announced his presence with a unique goal, marking his first for the Portland Timbers and kicking off what could be a remarkable season for him.

In Week 2, the Portland Timbers were making headlines, even though both players were on the bench by the end of the game. This recognition highlights their outstanding performance, and we look forward to another exciting campaign ahead.
