CJ Williams selected 65th overall by New England in 2025 MLS SuperDraft

FOXBOROUGH, MA– The New England Revolution have selected defender CJ Williams with the 65th overall pick in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft

Williams will occupy a supplemental roster slot.

CJ Williams is a 20-year-old, 6’2, 183lb defender from Valley Stream, New York.

Before college, Williams was a member of the NYCFC Academy, New York Red Bulls Academy, & Met Oval. He also was a middle-distance track runner in high school.

Williams, 20, signs with New England after a 3-year collegiate career at Boston College (2022-2024). During his collegiate career, Williams made 39 appearances (37 starts, 3,110 minutes) from 2022-2024.

In total career numbers, the defender registered 1 goal and 0 assists with 9 yellow cards and 1 red card.

The expectation is that Williams will play with 2025 season with the New England Revolution II in MLS NEXT Pro.
