Smithfield, RI– Rhode Island FC have announced their end-of-season roster decisions ahead of the 2025 campaign.

The following nine players are under contract:
Goalkeeper Koke Vegas, defenders Stephen Turnbull, Karifa Yao and Grant Stoneman, midfielders Marc Ybarra, Zachary Herivaux, Jojea Kwizera and forwards JJ Williams and Albert “Chico” Dikwa.
The team has exercised the contract options on five players:
Goalkeeper Jackson Lee, defender Frank Nodarse, midfielders Joe Brito and Clay Holstad along with forward Noah Fuson.
The loan deals of two players have expired & they will return to their parent clubs:
Defender Morris Duggan (Minnesota United FC) and midfielder Jack Panayotou (New England Revolution).
The team has declined the contract options of eight players:
Midfielders Kevin Vang, Amos Shapiro-Thompson, Isaac Angking, and Kofi Twumasi – The team is in talks to potentially re-sign these players.
Defender Gabriel Alves, midfielders Conor McGlynn and Nathan Messer along with forward Mark Doyle. – These players WILL NOT RETURN.
Additionally, two players are out of contract at the end of the 2024 campaign & will not return:
Goalkeeper Nate Silveira and defender Collin Smith.
