The draw at home against FC Dallas left a bitter taste in manager Phil Neville’s mouth to move up the postseason spots and try to climb into a comfortable position and avoid the wild card matchup.

However, the Timbers are looking forward to a successful postseason and may be looking forward to making it into MLS Cup as well as winning the title.
Still, this is very early to tell, and getting ahead of myself in the upcoming MLS Cup playoffs, the team is ready to deliver memorable afternoons to its amazing fanbase and is prepared to carry it all the way.
A win against the Emerald City side will boost the Timbers’ momentum come the playoffs; I am very well looking forward to seeing the Rose City side playing like they are in an all-around finale.
Its not going to be an easy endeavor, but the Portland Timbers somehow have the Sounders’ number and if manager Neville has a good strategy in the end, the Rose City side will come victorious.

The team has been performing well both at home and away. They have managed to turn their season around and secure a spot in third place as they head into their final game of the season at Lumen Field. This game is part of Rivalry Week.
The Cascadia Derby is considered one of the most intense and action-packed matches in Major League Soccer. The rivalry between the teams ignites high passion among the players on the field, as both sides strive to outperform each other!
Seattle manager Brian Schmetzer is staying focused on business as usual, aiming for a morale-boosting win over their rivals before the upcoming postseason.
Still, the Rave Greens have an unlimited number of weapons but so do the visiting Portland Timbers with their dream frontmen Rodriguez, Mora, Evander, and Moreno these on their best day can become a bit dangerous.
This will be another contested Derby and the best side will come victorious a win for the Timbers will be seen as a lift come the postseason along for the Sounders these will be riding high after all they beat their archrivals the Timbers.
