Charlotte FC looking to extend unbeaten streak to five against Houston Dynamo FC

Charlotte FC is on the road this week taking on Houston Dynamo FC.

Charlotte FC is coming off a big 2-0 win over the Philadelphia Union on the road. Patrick Agyemang scored both goals for Charlotte in the match while Kristijan Kahlina and the defense kept a clean sheet, their league leading ninth of the season. Charlotte is currently fifth in the MLS Eastern Conference with 32 points and a record of 9-6-5.

Houston is also coming off a big win, defeating DC United 4-1 on the road with Sebastián Ferreira scoring a hat trick. After the win Houston sits in seventh place in the MLS Western Conference with a 7-6-6 record.

The two clubs have faced off twice before with Charlotte winning both matches.

Looking ahead to the match, Charlotte will be without their captain, Ashley Westwood, due to yellow card accumulation. Charlotte has played well for the past two months, but only time will tell how they will play without their captain on the pitch.

The match is scheduled for Saturday, June 29 at 8:30 p.m. EST and streaming on Apple TV MLS Season Pass.
