Nottingham Forest look to close in on the top two when they meet Fulham at Craven Cottage

Nottingham Forest will look to pile the pressure on second-placed Bournemouth when they take on Fulham at Craven Cottage tonight.

Steve Cooper’s men are the form side in the division, winning seven out of their last eight league games, and will be seeking to cut the current gap of five points to Bournemouth for the final automatic promotion spot.

Meanwhile, Fulham will be looking for victory to potentially win the Championship title, and will be dependent on Bournemouth failing to beat Swansea City in South Wales if it is to happen this evening.

Key Players:

For Marco Silva’s men, Aleksander Mitrovic  is the man to keep your eyes on. He netted his 41st league goal of the season at the Vitality Stadium against the Cherries last weekend.

Fabio Carvalho needs one more strike to get in to double figures for the campaign, as he continues to impress and edge closer for a summer move to Liverpool.

The Reds will hoping Brennan Johnson can continue his breakthrough season. The winger went in to double figures for assists in their 1-0 win over Peterborough on Saturday.

Sam Surridge was the beneficiary of a Johnson assist and will also be one to watch having scored in his previous two league outings.

Team News:

With no major injury concerns, Fulham boss Marco Silva may be inclined to make some changes to his side with this being a midweek game.

Antonee Robinson may replace Joe Bryan at left-back, whilst there could be opportunities for Jean Michael Seri or Nathaniel Chalobah to start in midfield.

Neco Williams was left out of Fulham’s matchday squad on the South Coast for a “technical reason”, so it will be interesting to see whether Kenny Tete retains his place tonight.

There is the potential for some freshening up in the attack too, with Bobby Decordova-Reid looking to get some minutes in ahead of Neeskens Kebano.

Forest will be without Keinan Davis, who is ruled out for the rest of the season with a hamstring injury.

Loanee Max Lowe continues to be side-lined with a groin problem.

Manager Steve Cooper is set to remain unchanged as his side mount a late charge for the top two.

Predicted Lineups:

Fulham: (4-2-3-1) Rodak; Tete, Adarabioyo, Ream, Robinson; Seri, Reed; Wilson, Carvalho, Decordova-Reid; Mitrovic

Nottingham Forest (3-4-1-2) Samba; Worrall, Figueiredo, McKenna; Spence, Yates, Garner, Colback; Zinckernagel; Johnson, Surridge
