Louise Quinn signs new contract with WSL champions Arsenal

Fresh from winning the Women’s Super League title with Arsenal, Louise Quinn has signed a new contract with the club.

Quinn joined Arsenal from Notts County in 2017 and has made 59 appearances for the Gunners.

During her time at the club, she has won the 2017 FA WSL Continental Cup and also helped them reach the 2018 FA Cup final.

Manager Joe Montemurro said:

“We are very happy that Louise has signed a new contract with us.

“She has been an important part of our strong defence this season. The commitment and attitude that she transmits is very important within a strong defence.”

Quinn added:

“It’s absolutely huge for me. Definitely number one is looking for that league title and putting those performances in on the pitch. Then to get a contract after is brilliant.”

The Republic of Ireland international has played a key role in Arsenal’s title success and becomes the fifth player to sign a contract extension this season, following Katie McCabe, Danielle van de Donk, Lisa Evans and Vivianne Miedema.
