FIFA completely got their way in South Africa…actually they always do and keep filling their coffers with more and more Billions. Good point LY, but the World Cup games will be attended by thousands of non Brazilians. For me, it’s more a question of sovereignty and FIFA trying to act like a supra-national entity.

I think the lawmakers of Brazil know their people better than FIFA and shouldn’t just cave into the FIFAs wishes if they believe it poses a significant risk.
